Hello!

My name is Zachary Nolty. I am a proud graduate of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at The University of Cincinnati. I graduated in April 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a focus in the medical device track. Five amazing years of hard work, determination and many great friends molded me into the person I am today. I am excited to share my story with you!

I chose to follow the medical device track where I learned about product development. I was exposed to courses such as anatomy, materials science, thermodynamics, physics, circuits, CAD, biomechanics and more. The medical device track taught me the process in which medical devices are brainstormed, prototyped, tested and documented.

Throughout my time at UC, I was able to experience multiple branches of the medical field thanks to the Cooperative Education (co-ops) program offered by the university. I learned hard skills such as 3D computer aided design, coding, protyping and testing, documentation, service and repair and industry standards. More importantly, I learned how to connect with people, communicate effectively, work as a member of a team and contribute to a greater cause.

My experience includes a diverse background: hospitals, service and repair, and product development. With this experience, I am very hopeful that I can transition this knowledge into a workspace where I can collaborate with others and their challenges in the medical industry.

I am creating this platform to encompass all of my strengths in an effort to support you. I look forward to working with you and your team!
